Material Recycling Association of India (MRAI) is pleased to announce the 14th International Material Recycling Conference & Exposition (IMRC 2027), scheduled for 18–20 January 2027 at the Novotel Jaipur & Convention Centre, Jaipur, India.
Over the past 13 years, IMRC has evolved into a premier international platform for dialogue, collaboration, knowledge exchange and business engagement across the material recycling and circular economy ecosystem. IMRC 2027 is expected to bring together 3,500+ delegates from 50+ countries, 230+ exhibitors and 50+ national and international associations, with high-level deliberations covering global trade dynamics, market intelligence, circularity, supply-chain resilience, resource security and advanced recycling technologies.
Through IMRC 2027, MRAI aims to provide a global platform for policymakers, industry leaders, recyclers, technology providers, investors, researchers and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge, explore partnerships, showcase innovative solutions and collectively advance the recycling ecosystem towards greater circularity, resource security, sustainability and global competitiveness.
IMRC has received support and participation from key Government Ministries, Departments and institutions, including the Ministry of Steel, Ministry of Mines, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Ministry of Electronic & Information Technology, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of MSME, NITI Aayog, CPCB, DGFT, DCPC and BIS.
Aligned with India’s national development priorities and the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, Mission LiFE, Atmanirbhar Bharat and Net Zero, IMRC 2027 will highlight the growing role of recycling in building a resource-efficient, resilient and globally competitive circular economy.
What more to expect from this year’s edition:
- Sectoral Brainstorming and Policy Dialogues
IMRC 2027 will feature sector-specific brainstorming sessions, policy dialogues and knowledge-driven discussions covering Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Metals, E-Waste, Batteries & Li-ion Recycling, Critical Minerals & Rare Earth Extraction, Tyres & Rubber, Pyrolysis, ELVs, Plastics, Textiles, C&D Waste, Used Oil and Solar Waste.
The sessions will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, recyclers, technology providers, manufacturers, researchers and investors to examine policy and regulatory priorities, supply-chain challenges, technological innovation, resource security and pathways for sustainable industry growth. - Advancing Circularity, Resource Efficiency and Climate Action
With India witnessing rapid urbanisation, industrialisation and rising material consumption, recycling is becoming increasingly important for resource security, sustainable development and low-carbon growth.
IMRC 2027 will focus on key areas including circular economy and resource efficiency, waste-to-wealth, industrial decarbonisation, carbon mechanisms, sustainable supply chains, secondary raw material security, research and development, and advanced material recovery.
By recovering valuable materials from end-of-life products and diverse waste streams, the recycling industry can help conserve natural resources, improve material efficiency, reduce waste and material losses, strengthen the availability of secondary raw materials and support lower-carbon industrial value chains.
Through IMRC 2027, MRAI will provide a global platform for stakeholders to exchange knowledge, explore partnerships, showcase technologies and collectively advance India’s recycling ecosystem towards greater circularity, resource security, sustainability and global competitiveness.
