Ecomondo is the key event for green and circular economy.It is the meeting place where industrial groups, stakeholders, policy makers, opinion leaders, local authorities, research bodies and institutions come together and put in place the key elements that define the strategies for the development of EU environmental policy.

Recycling Europe will host a dedicated event at Ecomondo on 4 November 2026, focusing on the Circular Economy Act and the related legislative developments supporting sustainable construction. Bringing together representatives from the European Commission, the recycling and construction industries and other key stakeholders, the discussion will explore subjects such as the development of EU end-of-waste for the mineral fraction of CDW, the Construction Products Regulation, the Public Procurement Act and the Industrial Accelerator Act.  

This conference will also feature a presentation on the EU-funded BUILDERS project, which aims to assess the introduction of extended producer responsibility (EPR) schemes for construction products.
